delicious food cute atmosphere polite staff good service
i found the restaurant and bar convenient. the food tasted delicious and the atmosphere felt so cute. i appreciated that the respectful staff carried my luggage up the stairs. i felt very well taken care of.
the internet was a bit patchy , sometimes it made it hard to get work done.

the location was acceptable it was a short car journey from the ferry terminal for crossing to the south island
the room had no air conditioning , made the afternoons and nights muggy the window allowance was too small it was like there was barely any air flow the contents of the fridge were from the previous guest

Vintage Charm and Convenient Location!
spacious room natural light calm street
I really enjoyed the SUPER spacious room with many windows. The natural light was GREAT!!! I also appreciated the very calm street at night. Morning strolls to the hills and the botanical garden were perfect.
The accommodation does look a bit run down.

Allocated car parks proved very helpful . I found the staff courteous. They even carried our luggage up the stairs. No request was too much to handle for staff.
